Karachaganak Field is a gas condensate field in Kazakhstan. It is located about 23 kilometres (14 mi) east of Aksai in the northwest of Kazakhstan.

The scope of the Khabarovsk refinery modernization has gradually been expanded to enhance refining capacity, to improve the quality of oil products and to facilitate crude oil supplies to the refinery through the East Siberian Pacific Ocean pipeline (ESPO).
The 865 km ROMPCO Mozambique to Secunda Pipeline (MSP) supplies natural gas from the Pande and Temane gas fields in Mozambique to the SASOL CTL Refinery in Secunda, South Africa.
The project is aimed at extending the plateau of liquid hydrocarbons extraction, which, in turn, will help to gain significant additional profit for the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Karachaganak partner companies.
